FIVE Viacom networks, which will include MTV, VH1, and Spike, are planning on running custom TV spots for Deadpool in place of other commercials during three hours of programming.
Are shows like Tosh.0, Workaholics, Golden Girls, and Love & Hip Hop some of your go-tos? Then don't be surprised to find a Deadpool spot featuring Deadpool and a rose just in time for Valentine's Day.
Executive Vice President of Viacom's Velocity marketing team Dario Spina told TheWrap:
"It's the biggest takeover stunt we've ever done with a partner."
Repetition seems like the best way to drill it into this generation's short attention span that Deadpool is the film to take your lovely date to this Valentine's Day weekend. And if Ryan Reynolds isn't enough to convince you, then you've got some massive problems.
