With the deaths of some great actors, musicians, and sports icons (David Bowie, Alan Rickman, and Dave Mirra), you could say that 2016 didn't start off so well for the entertainment industry. We're all very sad when some of our favorite celebrities pass away, but the thought of them never going to play, act, or do some crazy stunt again is what hurts us the most. Below are 9 actors and 1 actress that left some kind of an impression on us, and that we wish didn't die when they did. Enjoy!

Sir Christopher Lee - June 7, 2015

Age: 93

Most Well Known Films: Dracula, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Wicker Man, The Lord of the Rings, and The Curse of Frankenstein.

Sir Christopher Lee is the only member of the Lord of the Rings cast or crew who actually met J.R.R. Tolkein. Sir Christopher also recorded a metal album at the ripe old age of 90!

Robin Williams - August 11, 2014

Age: 63

Most Well Known Films: Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets Society, Aladdin, and Hook.

Robin Williams only made $75,000 for voicing the Genie in Aladdin, which went on to gross over $200 million domestically. "Disney later sent him a late Picasso painting as a way of thanking him for his work."

Michael Clarke Duncan - September 3, 2012

Age: 55

Most Well Known Films: The Green Mile, Armageddon, Daredevil, The Finder, and Planet of the Apes.

Before working as an actor, Michael Clarke Duncan worked as a bodyguard for Notorious B.I.G. One night, M.C.D. let a friend go to work instead of himself. That was the night where Notorious B.I.G. got shot. Afterwards, Michael immediately quit working as a bodyguard.

Bernie Mac - August 9, 2008
