Now, it's fair to say that for pretty much everyone reading this, the chances of appearing on screen alongside the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo and Chris's Evans and Hemsworth are, sadly, few and far between. Barring Scarlett Johansson or Jeremy Renner reading this — and if you are, say hi in the comments section! — we're more likely to run into our favorite Marvel Studios stars in our local grocery store than to actually get to appear alongside them in a major Hollywood blockbuster.

Unless, of course, you happen to win the latest contest from Marvel itself:

Marvel Wants YOU To Cameo In 'Avengers: Infinity War'

Or, at least, it seems that one lucky fan will get the chance to do so (the folks at Marvel's level of desire to specifically have you do it is hard to accurately gauge).

Marvel, y'see, has just launched a contest to give one fortunate fan the chance to appear on screen in Avengers: Infinity War, which is the sort of thing you normally have to spend years working as a professional actor (or save Kevin Feige's life) in order to achieve.

How Do You Enter The Contest, Though?

Well, the key to getting your face on screen come 2018 is, as is so often the case, a series of hashtags. Specifically, a combination of at least one of the above emoji-fueled hashtags, and one of the pair specially designed for the contest, and .

Tweet something featuring that magical combination by February 14 (just once, mind - Marvel evidently doesn't look to kindly on multiple account usage), and you'll be entered into the prize draw to appear in Avengers: Infinity War. What's more, you'll apparently also get a three night stay in Atlanta sometime during November/December 2016 (to, y'know, film your part), during which time there's always the chance you'll run into at least one of your favorite stars.

It's worth noting that you need to be both a US resident and 18 or older to enter — and more detailed terms of conditions can be found right here — but if it all seems hunky-dory to you, then feel free to go ahead and get tweeting!

The next Marvel epic is 'Captain America: Civil War' which is released May 6th.
