It feels like a long time ago we watched one of the first Deadpool viral videos, 'how Deadpool spent Halloween.' The clip shows Ryan Reynolds, donning the red suit, prepping a bunch of school children on the most effective way to Trick or Treat.

Since then, most of the marketing around the film has been on the back of the titular character — which is a credit to Deadpool's impetuous charm.

Now, we're perilously close to the full feature release, and Wade Wilson is showing no signs of letting up.

On Sunday, Deadpool Continued The Trend In Style During The Super Bowl TV Spot

In the clip, named Superb Owl (see what they did there?), Wade Wilson's alter ego opens with the quip:

"I've always wanted to be a professional athlete cause I wanted to have children in cities all over the world."

Lol.

But, as entertaining as the piece to camera is, most exciting is the new footage we get to see...

Plus, The Spot Features Additional Footage Of Colossus

All of these things combined ramps the excitement levels for Friday's release into overdrive. You can check out the full video below:

Not For Kids

Much of the debate surrounding the movie has been centered around the film's R-rating, with much promise of this being a fairly adult affair. So much so, that the film has even been banned in China, which caused Ryan Reynolds to respond with a Deadpool-esque 'f*ck you' to those responsible.

A perfect cocktail of ingenious marketing and the felicitous Reynolds in the lead role has set tongues wagging. Early reviews of the film are promising, with the movie currently holding a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Are you excited for the release? I hope you are. There are only a few more days to wait — 'Deadpool' is released on February 12th.
