The recent PIXAR film regards Arlo's cheesy journey with Spot the wolf-child. Arlo's ultimate purpose of his unintended journey is to mark his paw on a piece of rock! Throughout Arlo's journey, there are 6 similarities that The Good DInosaur shares with a few of the best animated movies! While you're on your memory road trip, be aware of the spoilers ahead!

1. Spot looked like Tarzan after his trip to the saloon

Not only they share the same hair and eye colour, their posture and movements are quite similar as well. I've also found photos of their adorable frowns!

2. The death of Arlo's father is a setting stone for Arlo's path to redemption

Now doesn't this remind you of some other animated film with some other cub that also wishes to redeem himself. The death of their father made them reacted differently; nonetheless, they have redeemed themselves at last.

4. The Great Valley echoes in our memories when Arlo reaches home

The style of portraying the end of Arlo's adventure is similar to the discovery of The Great Valley by Little Foot and his friends. You probably wouldn't even remember the name of Arlo's village due to the iconic reminder of The Great Valley.

5. Two friends trying to survive in the wild

All these cheesy plot lines are always fishy, yet heart-warming even for these cold-blooded reptilians and fish!

6. Separation of two friends after surviving the impossible

Doesn't this remind you of the heart-breaking scene when Chomper needs to leave with its carnivorous mother?

These are just a few similarities that I have found. Although the same plot lines have been used over and over again, each film seems to have its own charms and cheesi-ness. Did you notice any other scenes in The Good Dinosaur that looks similar with other animated films?
