In addition to being the mother to so many famous children, Kris Jenner has made quite a name for herself as one of Hollywood's most prolific momagers.
In this month's issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family sat down with the magazine to discuss life in the limelight.
As is to be expected, the conversation turned to Kris Jenner's famous ex, Caitlyn Jenner, who publicly transitioned last year. While the pair are still very close and—if social media is any indication—still get together regularly, she did admit that it took some time to come to terms with such a huge change.
"I think at some point, although it was difficult and, uh, a challenge … I just have to let it go. And try to be tolerant...You know, just trying to understand. It takes time. But time is a wonderful healer. And we have two children together. It's important for my kids to see our family strong and united."
In the interview, she also revealed that she had never known what "transgender" meant before Caitlyn, and stated that this experience has been a learning experience.
"I never really thought about it before. And I'd never known anyone who was transgender. I didn't even know what the word meant. Because there's transgender and transsexual, and there's …I mean, I just didn't know much about it. So …I definitely got a big education."
After almost 25 years of marriage, it's understandable that this has been a big adjustment, but it's great to see all of the members of the family taking the changes in stride and being wholly accepting of Caitlyn.
