Turns out the most dangerous thing about Harley Quinn is her spelling abilities, or lack thereof...
This might be the best piece of news to come from the Suicide Squad set ever. While filming Suicide Squad, Margot Robbie, who plays the sexy psycho Harley Quinn, gave everyone in the Suicide Squad a tattoo saying 'Squad' to commemorate the film. Well, that's cool and all, except for when she spelled one wrong.
That's right, on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night, alongside Tina Fey, Margot admitted that one of her Squad, which they had decided to spell S-K-W-A-D, tattoos didn't exactly turn out right. So a certain someone has a permanent reminder on their body of Margot's less than perfect spelling abilities.
"It's a good time to be pretty!" Tina Fey hilariously joked after Margot sheepishly revealed her blunder. Watch Margot's awkward admission below!
When giving her first of the tattoos on the set, she was writing out "Skwad," only to skip the "K" and go straight to the "W," spelling "Swad." HAHA! I mean, I guess it could be worse, right? Personally, I would take a misspelled tattoo from Harley Quinn any day! So who is the unfortunate victim of this hilarious and permanent hiccup? Margot revealed it was Jai Courtney's (who plays Boomerang) assistant, Simon. Simon volunteered to be the first to receive a tattoo from Margot, and, well, I bet he wishes he had gone second.
Seriously, I cannot stop laughing! "SWAD"!
Margot even jokingly posted this on her Instagram weeks ago, presumably after her blunder.
I'll bet Simon doesn't mind it though, a tattoo from Margot Robbie is like a national treasure, misspelled and all! Margot was on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert with Tina Fey promoting their upcoming comedy Whisky Tango Foxtrot, and we are so happy Stephen was able to coax this hilarious admission from her!
