It's been almost 22 years since their characters met on screen and instantly bonded like peas and carrots, but you won't believe how grown up the child stars of Forrest Gump are now!
When Michael Conner Humphreys and Hanna Hall appeared as young Forrest Gump and Jenny Curran in Forrest Gump they were both still in elementary school, but these days they're in their early 30s!
Check out what the pair look like now, and see what they've been doing in the years following Forrest Gump:
Young Jenny Curran - Hanna Hall
Following Forrest Gump, Hanna Hall has continued to work in film and TV. Aside from Forrest Gump, Hall is probably most famous for her role as Cecilia Lisbon in Sofia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides. She has also appeared in movies such as Halloween, Radio Free Albemuth, Happiness Runs and Visible Scars. Most recently you may have seen her guest starring in Criminal Minds or Masters of Sex.
In addition to Hall's work in front of the cameras, she also has experience behind the lens. Working as an assistant director on episodes of Batgirl: Spoiled and There Will Be Brawl.
Young Forrest Gump - Michael Conner Humphreys
Unlike his co-star, the actor behind young Forrest, Michael Conner Humphreys, chose not to go into show business, but rather follow in Forrest Gump's footsteps and enlisted in the United States Army! Humphreys served four years in the Army, including one in Iraq, but these days he's studying International Relations at college in Corinth, Mississippi.
Despite not going on to become a full-time actor after Forrest Gump, Humphreys does have one other acting credit to his name, the 2011 film Pathfinders: In the Company of Strangers. The movie is an independent World War II film, which Humphreys told AL.com "fell right into it with my military background."
Would you recognize either of these two today?
