Hopeless at algebra? Don't know when the Civil War happened? Relax! Math and history are so old school. Thanks to ABC's new game show, all of those hours you've spent scrolling through your newsfeed reading seemingly useless celebrity trivia will not go wasted! Finally, Justin Bieber's favorite cereal and the names of Taylor Swift's cats might actually come in handy.

Following the huge success of Spike's Lip Sync Battle, which was originally inspired by a bit on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, ABC are hopping on board with a series version of Jimmy Kimmel's Who Knows? The new series, called Big Fan, will be produced by Kimmel and hosted by Andy Richter.

Big Fan will see three super fans battling it out to be declared most knowledgable about their favourite celebrity, with the winner moving on to a final showdown. In this round, the fans will go head to head with the celebrities themselves in a bid to prove they know best, and any fan lucky enough to win will be treated to a special experience with their idol.

It doesn't have a release date yet but after this video of Katy Perry competing with a diehard fan went viral, the show is already shaping up to be a success.

In a generation of celebrity culture, Big Fan truly is the super fan's dream come true. Think you could take on the challenge?

Who would you battle?
