Bonafide momager and Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner has lashed out at critics who accuse her of exploiting her family for fame and fortune. While clowning around in a photoshoot with Harper's Bazaar, she insisted that they were all "on board with" appearing on the family's infamous reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
As well as covering topics such as her high-profile past marriage to Caitlyn Jenner, the breakdown of Kourtney's marriage to Scott Disick, and Kim's relationship with Kanye West, Kris was very adamant that she doesn't in any way take advantage of the family's real-life trials and tribulations for money. In fact, her actual words were:
"No. I made and created a show that my family was all on board with, and we were so excited because we got to work together.”
So, where does all this criticism come from? Well, according to Kris, it's probably because people are just jealous:
"There’s definitely an attitude when a woman accomplishes anything. But I also think people are very jealous. Or are bitter and angry about their own lives.”
She is also convinced that many of her critics simply don't have anything better to do with their lives than throw daggers at her:
"[They] don’t have anything else to do but be nasty and criticize someone else. There are so many millions of people who are great to us that I can’t worry about some idiot in Oklahoma.”
Thankfully, over the years, the momager has learned to cope with all the hate, admitting:
“You just have to have a thick skin and say, ‘That poor person, I feel sorry for you.'”
Do you think Kris exploits her family for fame and fortune?
