Was horror classic Cabin Fever in need of a remake? Obviously. And these grisly pictures prove it.
The remake uses the exact same 2002 script by Eli Roth and Randy Pearlstein, but will feature a new cast, setting and ideas which all promises some fresh fear.
Original director Eli Roth even told IGN that Travis Z’s new screamer has some “smart” new terrors and that he was “blown away”.
The story that now defines the term “cabin fever” tells of a group of five college graduates holidaying in a cabin in the woods. As strange things start happening the sense of claustrophobia tightens and the group falls prey to a flesh-eating virus.
The remake, now in post-production, is expected to emerge later this year.

And as all farmers know, “when cattle get sick, you got to kill it before it spreads to the rest of the heard.”
