When the rock 'n' roll alien known as David Bowie got back on his spaceship and left us, we were all heartbroken. The Starman was on this planet for just shy of 70 years, but in my personal opinion, the Earth could have used another 70 of him.

This past Monday at The Roxy Theatre's Celebrating David Bowie benefit concert in Los Angeles, stars including Ewan McGregor, Gary Oldman and Seal paid tribute to the man who told us we could be heroes.

Also in attendance was Mike Garson, a pianist who often performed alongside Bowie. Check out these celebrities keeping the legend alive with his soul-touching music.

Ewan McGregor Performs "Heroes"

McGregor and the band are clearly enjoying themselves as Bowie's spirit moves through them.

Mike Garson And Seal Cover "Aladdin Sane" And "Bring Me The Disco King"

Can Seal just sing forever and ever? Also, Garson absolutely kills it with his emotional piano performance.

Gary Oldman Performs "The Man Who Sold The World"

Just look at the ever-handsome Oldman channel his inner Bowie. Simply breathtaking.

More than 40 years after its release, it's truly heart-warming to hear Garson play "Aladdin Sane." It seems as if the music touched him as much as it touched us.

Rest in peace, Bowie. You live on through your superb music and message.
