In case there was any cause for concern in the last few months due to the relative silence and wishy-washy statements in regard to the return of Bad Boys, have no fear! Will Smith is once again confirming that Bad Boys 3 is a go.

In an interview with A.Dot on BBC Radio 1Xtra, Smith spoke briefly about meeting with his costar Martin Lawrence and realizing Bad Boys 3 was inevitable.

“I saw Martin a few weeks ago. I hadn’t seen him for about two years and we just looked at each other and we hugged and in that moment, we both knew we were making another 'Bad Boys.' We’re definitely doing another one.”

I guess distance really does make the heart grow fonder!

When Smith was a guest on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio last year, he even went so far as to say that we may expect the third Bad Boys to reach theaters in the next 12 to 16 months.

We're still not 100% sure whether Smith and Lawrence will actually star in the film or just work behind the camera, but I think we should remain hopeful. Considering this cinematic pairing is the epitome of "ride or die," it would make sense for them to see this trilogy through to the end.

Do you want to see Will Smith and Martin Lawrence star in another 'Bad Boys' movie?
