These days it seems like movies movies are either a sequel, spinoff, reboot or adaptation. While I'm the type of person who loves seeing my favorite books brought to the silver screen, I like to be able to read the book and imagine my own characters before seeing them played by a big name actor.

It might be too late for you to read The Fifth Wave, The Choice, or Pride and Prejudice and Zombies before the movies are released, but there's still time to catch some of these popular books before they're rereleased by stills from their 2016 film adaptations (I'm looking at you, The Martian).
