For us mere mortals lucky (or mad) enough to schedule a date on Valentine's Day, it usually means grabbing dinner somewhere nice, catching a movie and maybe a flower or two. For celebrities however, it's a whole other kettle of fish.
So, what do you get the celeb who has everything? One of the below dementedly expensive gifts, obviously.
1. A 200-year-old tree
In 2010 Angelina Jolie apparently spent 18.5k on a 200-year-old olive tree as a valentine's gift for Brad Pitt. The couple planned to plant said tree somewhere in the garden of their $60 million estate in the south of France.
As you do.
2. An entire florists
Back when Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were very much together, the singer reportedly cleared out an entire florists and needed 'multiple' trucks to complete the order!
At least he knows what to do when it's not too late to say 'sorry', eh eh eh.
3. Ba-Bling, Ba-Bling
$$$: Majorrrr bank.
According to Jenna Tatum, her blinging selection of Valentine's gifts is all thanks to one, rather unexpected, celebrity...
"My husband, Channing Tatum, likes to give me gifts from Neil Lane because of Sienna Miller. They were filming G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra, and they became good friends. She told him, ‘You have to go to Neil Lane,’ and that's how I have my amazing jewelry collection."
Although the amount of bucks Tatum has dropped at Hollywood jewelry designer Neil Lane is undisclosed, just buy checking several sites selling his rocks (which go for thousands a pop, btw) you know we're taking big bucks.
4. A sugar coated cruiser
$$$: $340,000, minimum
Katy Perry reportedly dropped some serious cash when purchasing Russell Brand's 2010 Valentine's gift. What did she get him? A lilac-colored Bentley, 'cause why the F not?
5. Unfathomably expensive rocks
$$$: 8 MILLION
On a necklace. I mean it's hardly surprising that the Beckham's lavish expensive gifts on each other but 8 mill on a necklace David? Really? Really?
6. So in Vogue
Or on Vogue, rather. According to The Hollywood Reporter, in 2014 Kanye West lobbied to get Kim Kardashian on the cover of Vogue magazine as his Valentine's gift to the reality TV star.
7. A merry-go-round
$$$: An estimated $45,000
Before the couple broke up, Courteney Cox spent a huge wad on a vintage carousel horse for then-husband David Arquette. Because what do you you buy the man who has everything?
Not a carousel horse, that's what.
