The Fuller House trailer is finally here and it clears up a lot of logistical questions about just who's living in the house and what the Tanners have been doing for the last two decades. Plus, Uncle Jesse reassures us that everyone managed to hang on to their looks.
The trailer starts with a very familiar panorama of the Golden Gate Bridge right up to that front door. Then we close in on DJ and Stephanie in their old room, which DJ now shares with her baby. She asks, "Isn't this crazy? I wound up living back in my old bedroom."
Yes, that is crazy. If she was going to move back into her childhood home, she could have at least made a play to get Jesse and Becky's upstairs suite. Unless they're still living there...?
Aside from Stephanie's boobs, Nicky and Alex have made the most drastic transformation in the cast. The twins are grown-ups! They drink booze, inhale helium balloons and fill out their muscle-T's. They also got way easier to tell apart.
Since we last saw her, DJ's gotten married and had three boys, and now her husband passed away. The family overhears her tearfully tell her baby that they're all on their own now. You can see where this is going...
In true hyper-involved Tanner spirit, Stephanie sits the whole family down and declares she'll be moving in with DJ to help out. As loyal and enthusiastic as ever, Kimmy decides to move in, too.
But there's a new Gibbler in the group! Kimmy's got a daughter named Ramona, who looks maybe 10 or 11. The littler Gibbler is not so pumped about the new digs: "Mom! Moving in with DJ and those boy is a terrible idea!"
Then there's an especially cringey part where Steph accuses Kimmy of being stuck in the '90s, and Kimmy recites a long list of dated catchphrases without any sense of irony whatsoever.
Although we don't meet DJ's late husband, we know it wasn't Steve, because Steve's back!!! He's gotten a new letterman jacket and it looks like he and DJ have rekindled their old flame. I'm not sure why she had to marry anyone else in the first place.
Uncle Jesse tosses in a "How rude!" for good measure.
We do glimpse the girls drunk dialing Michelle, who is apparently living in New York. It goes straight to voice mail, though, and she's probably not calling back.
