One of the most undoubtedly famous book/film series is the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. And after the seventh book was released in 2007, many fans have anticipated an eighth story, a Harry Potter story that is a sequel to the series.
Well, we have that now.
You heard me right. And basically, there's going to be a two-part stage play named Harry Potter and the Cursed Child coming soon. And the script will be published as a hardcover and ebook on Harry and Rowling's birthday, July 31, and it will be released in 2017, the same year the epilogue takes place in in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Btw, that's Jonathan Carlin in that pic. He's a cool guy.
Seriously, though?! New Harry Potter?!
Apparently this “special rehearsal edition” will only be available for a limited time, after which it will be replaced by a “definitive collector’s edition” sometime in the future.
AND, this year, there will be a new Harry Potter movie called Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, focused on Newt Scamander and will take place years before Harry was born.
