Director Jordan Galland of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Undead is releasing his newest comedy horror — that is part The Hangover, part The Exorcist — called Ava's Possessions.
While most of us know a person or two in AA, Ava is recovering from a recent demonic possession and attends a Spirit Possessions Anonymous support group, as she has no recollection of the past month. Ava tries to get her personal, work and family life together while simultaneously trying to figure out what that stain under the carpet's from. She continues to fight off the horrific demonic visions that continually creep back into her mind.
Ava's Possessions premiered last year at the SXSW Film Festival. Momentum Pictures has a release date of March 4 for VOD.
The cast includes Louisa Krause (Billions), Jemima Kirke (HBO’s Girls), Carol Kane (Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), and Alysia Reiner and Deborah Rush (both of Netflix’s Orange is the New Black), alongside horror favorites Whitney Able (All The Boys Love Mandy Lane), William Sadler (Tales From The Crypt), Lou Taylor Pucci (Evil Dead) and Dan Fogler (NBC’s Hannibal).
