I hope you enjoyed that opening pun. I hope it was as delicious as these chocolates I'm about to show you. Let's get down to business - to check out the nums!
This Mercury styled chocolate is mango and coconut flavored, with a light lemon-y scent.
The Venus chocolates are lemon cream flavored, both tart and sweet.
Flavored like cocoa, the Earth chocolate has a very earthy flavor. Ba-dum-tss.
Mars is hazelnut and orange flavored, so in-your-face with the praline!!
Bitter and milk chocolates are mixed with vanilla to create the gaseous planet Jupiter. Hopefully the mixture won't leave you to gassy after - HA! ...Okay, this has got to stop...
This one is, believe it or not, rum raisin flavored! They give a nice nod to Saturn's famous rings with elegant brown circles along the outer shell.
Oh, the jokes I could make. Butt I won't. ;)
Uranus is a mix of bitter and milk chocolate, with a dash of UVA tea (a kind of black tea).
LOOK AT IT'S BEAUTY. Although I'm a bit biased towards my favorite Sailor Moon character, I will try not to be as obvious in describing the flavor. It's cappuccino flavored, and tastes like deep roasted coffee beans with a scent of cinnamon...and it's the best. Darn it, there I go again with my bias.
Sadly, unlike in the aforementioned Sailor Moon, even chocolatiers don't seem to consider it a planet worthy of their art anymore. The sorrow! The tragedy! The scientific correctness of it all!!
So, after all this scrollin' you're probably wondering: where do we get these heavenly chocolates? ;D (You may also be wondering: when will she stop with the puns? The answer: never.)
Created by L’éclat, the chocolate boutique of the Righa Royal Hotel Japan, every planet in our solar system gets a flavor — so you’ll no longer have to wonder what Uranus tastes like.
The Doctor would be so proud.
