Apparently to really love someone, you need to show that you really mean it once a year. Valentine's Day is near my friends and with it, excuses to break up, hook up, get engaged or simply get the most expensive Hallmark card money can buy. This day also provides the perfect excuse to approach the object of your affection and to finally ask him or her what time it is without fear of rejection. Success!
But do not fret, my friends! I have you covered. Love doesn't have to be all roses or promises. Love can be daunting, disappointing and can even lead to the Dark Side but it can still be beautiful. No matter if you are single or taken, our love for film is universal.
4. High Tension (2003)
Have you heard of the expression "I would die for you?" Just make sure you don't say it near someone like Marie because she will take your word for it.
3. Airplane! (1980)
A love story that conquers phobias, mental disorders and inflatable auto-pilots. Get your jive on and make sure to watch your favorite gladiator movies before boarding. Airplane! proves that love conquers all.
2. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)
This is the story of a lovable douche trying to get the girl of his subspace dreams. This film has fights, power-ups, more fights and a kick-ass soundtrack. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is a great movie to stay home and watch, avoid expensive restaurants and just think that the best battles are the ones ahead of you.
1. Braveheart (1995)
Love so strong that it makes you want to go to war with England. Braveheart is the best love story I've seen in a movie. A man that loves his country but wants to live in peace with his beloved. When that's taken away from him, love and passion merge in one powerful emotion that drives a man to do the impossible to prevent the same fate from befalling anybody else by achieving not only physical freedom, but also freedom of the soul.
Well, there you have it. Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoyed the read.
Happy Valentine's Day!
