I am a Box Office analyzer. Not a Professional one but a Better one.

20th Century Fox's Deadpool is bigger than anyone thought possible.Yeah, it has scored the biggest opening for a February release with $135M in its first three days(domestic) and also beating Matrix Reloaded's $91.8M opening record to become the highest R-rated Debut of all time.

After scoring the biggest day ever for the month of February with $47.5M, Deadpool also scored the second biggest day with $41.8M. Its 4-day haul is now estimated to be $150-155 million. If it is not frontloaded as the typical fanboy movies are, then we are looking at a domestic cume of $350M. Yeah you heard me right.

If it scored that $350M total (I hope it does) than it would be bigger than any superhero movie except Iron Man 3, two Dark Knight sequels , two Spider Man movies and two Avengers movies. This would be freaking Awesome.

So, it will be at $150M+ (Domestic) by the end of Holiday Weekend and throw in another $150M (upto $125M as of today) from overseas markets and we are looking at $300 million+ worldwide within just four days. Well these numbers may not be the biggest but they are huge for an R-rated movie.

The notion that a mere $191 million opening last may for Avengers: Age Of Ultron or a $519 million cume for Ant Man meant that audience were getting tired of superheroes movies is absurd on its face. So, whoever says 'Superhero Fatigue', go F*** yourself.

go F*** yourself
go F*** yourself

Deadpool is sizeable victory for Reynolds and 20th Century Fox, who spent 11 years making the irrelevant movie, since its one of the rare comic book movies to be rated R.
