If you were a fan of the show, then I'm sad to say that it has been confirmed Heroes Reborn, will not be returning for a second season. According to Robert Greenblatt (NBC Entertainment Chairman), it was only meant to be one season.

Because I enjoyed watching Heroes, I really wanted to see how this one would do. At the moment, I'm still left scratching my head, not knowing how I feel about it. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. In fact, I was a bit disappointed.

Let's do a recap:

The series takes place after a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas. Those with extraordinary abilities (aka EVOS), are blamed for the event. We discover that Noah Bennett is somehow estranged from his daughter Claire, who happened to give birth to twins: a boy named Tommy, and a girl named Malina. The two possess different powers and are separated at birth. Tommy is raised by Hiro Nakamura, while Malina is raise by her grandmother (Angela Petrelli).

Just like in Heroes, multiple events are occurring all at once and we are discovering new characters and their abilities.

I liked that series creator, Tim Kring kept some of the same characters. But somehow, this series lost it’s mojo after the first two episodes. What did you think? Are you glad it’s over?
