With the mainstream creators reviewing Deadpool and yes I have watched it. And yes it's the best(so far) hero movie even though he technically belongs with Suicide Squad. And there's comic book history being made so far.
But then again, this movie was real history. And Tom Hanks plays a really good negotiator, I mean I really believed his commitment and he was also originally a lawyer so he knows his laws, and he wants to defend this guy who was assumed to be a Russian spy, and you know it was at a time where the Cold War was silently escalating with civil wars on the brink. Russia and Germany being freniemies and America sitting there watching them. And all of them playing a silent chess game at the edges.
And yes there were cliches here and there but the journey you take with Tom Hanks' character you feel it.
I mean there was especially a scene where he looks to some kids climbing over the fence. And if you didn't watch the movie, you wouldn't get it but if you did, you know the comparison I'm making here. And even though he was never seen as a hero at first, that didn't matter to him. But went it does, we become more invested, as we reflect with him.
Overall, even though Deadpool was great and all and obviously I'm not one to turn down the numbers the reviews pull in, but I just want you guys to know that this movie was really great. And I really loved it and enjoyed it, it was just pure surreality that the drama takes into and reflects all the history that it should carry.
And obviously, Gravity Falls has to come first. It's been a great ride and I think I'll even do my Top 11 favorite episodes.
