American Horror Story has always been a fan favorite for people in all walks of life, and these American Horror Story actors are making the world a better place for the LGBT community. Did somebody say:

Sarah Paulson

'AHS' Roles: Billie Dean Howard, Lana Winters, Cordelia Foxx, Bette & Dot Tattler, Hypodermic Sally (AHS 1-5)

Sarah Paulson, who is currently dating queen of Two And A Half Men, Holland Taylor, has been out for years after her five-year relationship with actress Cherry Jones became public in 2007. On her sexuality, Paulson told Out:

The truth of the matter is, it was early enough in my career that there have been no attachments made to me as a performer. I think the thing that makes it somewhat easier in terms of there not having been ramifications is that I'm a character actress—nobody is assigning a particular kind of sexual anything to me, I don't just seems if you're sort of known for being a sex kitten...then you end up being a total femme fatale actress, and then all of a sudden you make a statement about your sexuality, it becomes news. Whereas I'm a character actress; I can do a lot of things. I don't think anybody's made one particular association with me that would then make them go, "Well, I can't see her this way now."

Clea DuVall

'AHS' Roles: Wendy Peyser (American Horror Story: Asylum)

Gay favorite Clea DuVall has been adored by lesbian audiences since her turn as grungey Stokely in The Faculty and Graham in But I'm a Cheerleader. Clea, who has a longtime girlfriend, told Vulture:

''I don’t think it matters much anymore. There was a stigma playing gay characters before that there just isn’t now.

When I started acting in the early nineties, that was a bigger consideration, but now it doesn’t feel like that much of a big deal.

You look at how many gay characters are on television and in movies and actors just aren’t afraid to do that any more. I think because there are more of those roles, the fear and the novelty of it have kind of gone away.''

Lady Gaga

'AHS' Roles: The Countess (American Horror Story: Hotel)

Lady Gaga is not only bisexual herself, but one of the LGBT community's greatest allies. She spoke out against Don't Ask, Don't Tell and even became an ordained minister so that she could marry two close female friends. On her own sexuality, she said of her male partners:

"The fact that I'm into women, they're all intimidated by it. It makes them uncomfortable.''

Neil Patrick Harris

'AHS' Roles: Chester Creb (Freak Show)

Neil Patrick Harris, who married TV personality/actor David Burtka in 2014, came out in 2006, telling People:

"I am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man, living my life to the fullest."

Neil and David have two children, Gideon Scott and daughter Harper Grace, with zillions of adorable Instagram pics of the family routinely making their way through celeb magazines.

Cheyenne Jackson

'AHS' Roles: Will Drake (Hotel)

Cheyenne Jackson married fellow actor Jason Landau in September 2014 before starring as Will Drake in American Horror Story: Hotel. He's clearly had a great couple of years!

Matt Bomer

'AHS' Roles: Andy, Donovan (Freak Show, Hotel)

Matt Bomer came out 'officially' in 2012, when he thanked his husband and kids in a live acceptance speech, saying:

“I'd really especially like to thank my beautiful family: Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry. Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment."

Zachary Quinto

'AHS' Roles: Oliver Thredson (Asylum)

Quinto, who is currently dating model Miles McMillan, came out in 2011, telling the public via his blog that he hopes that his honesty will go towards making life better for LGBT kids who are suffering, citing gay teenager Jamey Rodemeyer, who took his own life after severe bullying:

"In light of Jamey's death -- it became clear to me in an instant that living a gay life without publicly acknowledging it -- is simply not enough to make any significant contribution to the immense work that lies ahead on the road to complete equality. Our society needs to recognize the unstoppable momentum toward unequivocal civil equality for every gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered citizen of this country."

Denis O'Hare

'AHS' Roles: Larry Harvey, Spalding, Stanley, Liz Taylor (Murder House, Coven, Freak Show and Hotel)

Longtime AHS great Denis O'Hare married his partner, interior designer Hugo Redwood and adopted a kid from foster care. He has always been bold and open about his life, telling Out:

''We got married because we wanted to do it quickly for fear that they would take it away again, like they did in California.

Getting married was a political act because so many people fought so hard for it. Also, every time I say the word “husband” and somebody flinches, I am helping to teach society this is the way it will be. This is the way it is.''

Which roles would you like to see these 'American Horror Story' favorites take on in 'American Horror Story' Season 6?
