The 'Tangled' photo is so gorgeous!

We've seen Disney princess re-imagined in so many ways by some talented artists, but never this way! Photographer Brian McCarty, who is known for his meticulously staged photos using action figures and dolls, recreated the most beautiful scenes from recent Disney films using Disney dolls! He joined forces with Disney Consumer Products to make the photos, which are almost more beautiful than the original scenes from the films!

Brian used the dolls to recreate Merida in Brave racing through the woods on her horse, Angus; Tiana longingly wishing on a star from The Princess and the Frog; and Tangled's Rapunzel releasing her floating lanterns with Flynn into the night. The photos are magical, and absolutely spot on when compared to the originals, see for yourself.

The process of creating the scenes took days, and they are handmade piece by piece. Brian's photos will be displayed at New York’s Toy Fair to celebrate Disney’s 'Dream Big, Princess' campaign. See Brian and his team at work below making the magical photos!

Pretty incredible right? People have been getting so creative with Disney Princesses lately, and this is definitely one of my favorite interpretations!

What other characters would you like to see Brian use dolls to stage in photographs?
