In a galaxy far, far away French artist Thirsty Bstrd has imagined the ultimate cult classic fan art mashup, blending together the characters of Star Wars into the world of Back to the Future.
The final Star Wars trailer was released to the world just 48 hours before the day that Marty McFly arrives in 2015 from the past — is it all just a massive coincidence, or evidence of something else? Could Luke and Marty in fact be the same hero? Well, maybe not, but it's fun to imagine all the same, check them out:
Luke McFly is sent forward from a long time ago and meets up with Doc Obi-Wan
By the look on Luke's face, maybe he's seen the trouble his nephew gets into in the future.
Meanwhile back at Mos Eisley diner, Luke runs into his nerdy dad
"Gimme a bantha milk."
Hold on R2, that thing requires 1.21 Jigawatts of electricity!
Screw Mr. Fusion, R2's onboard now!
"Where are we?! WHEN are we?!"
"Luke, we're in a galaxy far, far away"
"Are you trying to tell me that my mother has got the hots for me?"
By this stage Luke has already made out with his sister, so I'm not sure that kissing his mother is really such a big jump...
"I guess you guys aren't ready for that yet... But your kids are gonna love it."
Well, at least he's not a member of the Max Rebo Band...
Enchantment Under the Empire dance
A hotbed of droids groping droids.
The future Luke!
I don't believe it!
Lightsaber fights — now with added mobility! (NB: Hoverboard may not work to full capacity over water)
To be honest, isn't a hoverboard just a mini landspeeder anyway?
Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads!
The irony of a town suspended in space being named Hill Valley is just much too good.
Would you watch a Star Wars/Back to the Future mash up?
