I can not begin to say how much I enjoyed this movie! I must say that Ryan Reynolds was beyond perfect for the role. Reynolds was the perfect Wade Wilson, even when thing seemed to get "serious" he had a sarcastic sense of humor to him, it was perfect! As a huge fan of the Deadpool comics, I felt they had done an excellent job with this movie! I honestly just can't say anything I found to be wrong with this movie! From the standpoint of a superhero origin story film, it did a great job balancing the before and after getting his powers. They put just the right amount of cameo/guest heroes (Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead), not to much and not to little, allowing the viewers to appreciate their presence without taking away from the main character. Of course, Stan Lee's cameo was phenomenal and the use of references to actual actors was outstanding! My most favorite part however, and the most well know and important aspect of Deadpool, was the fourth wall breaking! Reynolds did this absolutely perfectly throughout the film, in fact, he is so aware of the fourth wall that he makes direct reference to it, saying, "That's a fourth wall break in a fourth wall break...that's like sixteen walls!" (Or something like that). From a general film stand point, Deadpool uses plenty of very effective film techniques that make the hairs on the back of your neck rise and your hunger for more to grow, it also adds exponentially to the humor in many cases. So, i could go on and on about how much I loved this movie, but honestly, I highly recommend you go see it yourself!
