Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid), Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) and Guillermo Del Toro (Hellboy) all came together in 2014 to reboot the horror franchise Silent Hill. They had hoped to bring a whole different creation to home consoles. It's too bad we never got to even see it outside of the playable teaser P.T. that was released on the Playstation Network for anyone to download.

In spring of 2015, there was a devastating announcement by Kanomi that Silent Hills was cancelled. Later we had figured out that Kojima was no longer employed with Kanomi any longer. Though there could still be hope for those who are still waiting for the Silent Hills remake to become a reality, such as myself.

Guillermo Del Toro had revealed recently that he and Kojima are working on a new project together. It'd only be fair to bring Norman Reedus into the project to finish where they left off. Considering the tweet that Kojima had posted late on February 15th 2016, we may be hearing more about this soon.

Could Norman Reedus be starring in the next game collaborated by Del Toro and Kojima? Though Norman Reedus has had a few things to say about the game being cancelled in a interview with IGN in 2015

"I'm super bummed that happened in Japan, but I have faith. I have faith that we (Del Toro, Kojima,Reedus) can do something else."

Norman also spoke about working with Del Toro and Kojima saying:

"There were so many ideas and cool future happening that were thrown around. I just can't see us not picking this up somewhere."

As someone who is very well known from one of the most popular TV shows currently, his comments about the way people reacted to the video game being cancelled was:

The internet buzz about Silent Hills happening was so huge. I've never seen anything like it. Petitions with 100,000 people who have signed it, petitions to please make it happen. That's crazy. That's a crazy fan base, for not just that video game but also those people making that video game. And for me to jump on that truck with them, I was like 'Holy Balls it has to happen you need to do this'

Seeing how passionate Kojima, Del Toro and Reedus were about this video game and how much of a response they got back just for releasing the teaser. I think that we could soon see something in the making with these three amazing people! Let's just hope that tweet wasn't just for show and they come up with an idea together.

Do you think this tweet is a teaser to make up for the cancelation of Silent Hills?
