Never afraid to encumber customers with reams of pointless pre-order DLC packages, Ubisoft are up to their old tricks with their recently revealed pack for the impending Far Cry Primal. But there's a difference with this particular one, it actually sounds great!
"Legend of the Mammoth" puts you in the hooves of the legendary creature and lets you stomp around through three missions, tearing shit up as a mammoth would more than likely do, in exquisitely wooly style. Kinda like Unravel, but with more squishing of spear wielding people.
The three missions in question are Hunt the Hunters, where you... hunt... human hunters, Duel of the Beasts where you fight some kind of legendary glowing rhino and The Trapped Elder where you are tasked with rescuing an elderly mammoth from some more pesky humans. I'm guessing without the element of stealth.
What do you make of that? Will you be creating a legend of epic proportions, or will you be boycotting pre-order DLC because you believe it's akin to a cancer of the industry?
Far Cry Primal will be unleashed on February 23rd for PS4 and Xbox One. PC users will have to hold out until March 1st.
