Good Times has been wanting to come back to our screens since 2014, and it needs your help to do so! Adapted by Black-ish's Kenya Barris, along with producers Scott Rudin and Eli Bush, you can donate to its Kickstarter to help make the project come to life.
The original TV cast members are hoping to raise a cool $1 million toward the making of the movie. The cast includes John Amos, Ja’net DuBois, Ralph Carter, Jimmie Walker and BernNadette Stanis. Apparently, this group has been dreaming of a reunion for years.
The Kickstarter page includes this statement from the cast:
"We as the cast have decided to go on the Kick-starter website because we had heard this would be excellent in making the dream of a Good Times Movie Re-Union happen. We checked it out, studied the success of some of our favorite artists who have decided to bring their projects right here on kick-starter and have been very successful in seeing their projects become a reality through the help of their fabulous fans. This is exactly what we want our fans and Good Time lovers to do for our project. Support us in making this movie happen. You will become an active part of bringing this generational movie to the big screen."
There are only 15 days left for this Kickstarter. Just over $4,000 has been raised, but there is still so much time left.
Do you want to see this loving family return to screen?
