'Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?'

Every Harry Potter fan is familiar with the scene in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone where Neville shows Harry, Ron, and Hermione his new remembrall. Hermione goes on to explain that the glass ball contains smoke that turns red when its owner has forgotten something.

As the smoke turns scarlet, it becomes pretty clear something has slipped Neville's mind, but we never did find out what it was — until now. The answer is actually right in the scene! Can you spot it?!

Yes? No? I'll let Tumblr user lets-party-in-the-tardis reveal all...

Yep, Neville forgot his robes! Can't believe you never noticed it before, right?

This nice touch was the start of many subtle tricks not mentioned in the books but put in to the films by the production team. It continued right up until the very end in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Notice the enemies in this scene?

Of course, but I bet you didn't notice what the team were really getting at, spotted by Tumblr user ravenclaw-enfp:

Their life quite literally flashes before their eyes!

It's definitely the little things like this that made the Harry Potter series so great and makes us wonder whether there'll be any in the upcoming spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Take a sneak peek behind the scenes in this exciting clip:

Did you notice what Neville had forgotten?
