Kanye West has been somewhat vocal on his twitter profile recently. In the past few days he's called out Nike, asked 'white' media publications not to write about him, publicly asked Mark Zuckerberg for help and declared that he wants to be the creative director of Hermes. It was like he has a new album or something coming out, and needs to ramp up some attention.
Of course, if you have indeed been keeping up with his twitter antics, then you know there is a whole lot more where that came from.
Kanye West recently dropped a new record called 'Famous', featuring a controversial line where he claims to have made Taylor Swift famous.
"I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous."
Many seen the lyric as a misogynistic, undercutting all of Taylor's success. Of course, it didn't take long for the pop star to fire back, calling him out in a veiled Grammy award winning speech.
Now, it looks like Kanye has outdone even himself. Leaked audio from backstage at SNL has surfaced on the internet, and the self declared 'most important artist of two decades' truly did have a bit of meltdown back stage at SNL.
Ye allegedly repeats the line 'Don't f— with me' three times, as well as branding himself '50 percent more influential than any other human being'. We've became accustomed to outlandish claims by the hip hop star, but lately it really does seem like he has a grudge against Taylor Swift. In what is sure to send the Swift fandom into overdrive, West brands the singer a 'fake ass'. Check out the audio below!
The rant came as a result of Ye's frustration at rehearsing all day, and then having his stage moved by SNL crew. With Kanye West being the perfectionist he is, it's not all that surprising to see him go into a meltdown over something so trivial.
He truly is the gift that just keeps giving.
