WARNING: Possible spoilers for 'The Walking Dead' TV and comic series ahead. Proceed with caution.

Our regular Walking Dead encyclopedia, Allanah, has already covered some of the mind-blowing comparisons from the Walking Dead midseason premiere and the comics, but I've found even more almost identical shots and panels that I'd like to share with you guys.

The show seems to be more and more willing to borrow composition from the iconic comic book series which is a bonus for us readers who have been gagging to see our favorite panels spring into life.

Take a look below to see just how closely 'No Way Out' mirrored the comic series, but beware, there are obviously spoilers galore if you haven't seen the episode yet.

Disarming Violence

Comic book fans have been holding their breath for this heart-wrenching scene that shows just how devoted Rick is to his son, Carl, and the execution of the shots clearly mirrors the composition of the panels above.

Although the little boy who also meets his fate in the fetid teeth of the walkers in the show is Sam, in the comics it is actually Ron who get's devoured, but we'll move on to him in the next panel!

An Eye For An Eye

Although the eye shooting didn't really follow the comic book storyline, the moment when Rick realizes his son has been brutally maimed is identical. The comic book panel from Issue 83 was clearly a huge source of inspiration for showrunners, and Chandler Riggs totally owned this moment in the show with when he softly uttered the word "...Dad" in utter disbelief.

Alexandria's Victory

This shot of the battle worn citizens of Alexandria after their victory is clearly a direct homage to the comic book panel above.

Did you notice any more similarities between the show and the comics?
