After premiering Carnage Park at Sundance, indie horror filmmaker Mickey Keating has already announced he's working on Psychopaths, his fifth release to date.

The storyline will revolve around several serial killers over the course of a single night. Looking at the first exclusive poster, it's no surprise the movie is described as "psychedelic".

Bloody Disgusting were able to get their hands on the first names for the casting, which should include among others The Battery director Jeremy Gardne, Graham Skipper (The Mind’s Eye), Helen Rogers (V/H/S), Matt Mercer (Contracted) and Shudder curator Sam Zimmerman.

'Carnage Park' At Sundance

Young Mickey Keating has been very active lately, writing and directing Pod, Darling and Carnage Park in 2015 and 2016 only.

He discussed Carnage Park with Entertainment Weekly in January:

“Carnage Park is my total love letter to Peckinpah, and Deliverance, and ’70s survival movies. It’s set in 1978 and it’s a crime story [which] turns into a fight for survival. It’s hard to categorize in a way, because it’s an energetic crime movie that goes horribly horribly awry. I think it’s going to be something different for people.”

Which of Mickey Keating's movies have you already seen?
