Deadpool is one of the hottest comic book movie right now and it's well received by the critics and fans of the comics. The movie itself has set a new box office record for both Marvel and Fox. Deadpool has grossed a whopping $132.7 million on its opening weekend. Now, fans want Deadpool (not the actor, Ryan Reynolds) to host Saturday Night Live and they have launched a petition at calling for the anti hero to host an upcoming episode of the long-running sketch comedy show.

As stated in the petition: "We've all seen the trailers, the magazine covers, the viral videos, and the billboards by now, so what's left for Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) to do?". Andrew Stege, who launched the petition, wants to direct the petition to Lorne Michaels, creator of Saturday Night Live, NBC and Ryan Reynolds.

The petition has collected over 51,731 signatures and it's aiming for 75,000 signatures now. In the history of Saturday Night Live itself, never has there been an actor posing as a fictional character hosting the long-running show. If there's any character to make TV history, who better than Deadpool?
