Warning: If you have not read the comic book please proceed with caution.
The Valentine's mid-season premiere of [The Walking Dead](tag:201193) was almost scene by scene exactly like the comic book. As for the rest of Season 6 to come are they going to kill off some of the main characters like they did in the comic book or will they be switching it up on us again? We've all been waiting for this to come into play with Carl losing his eye, and the cast is saying that the finale for this season was really hard to film. We're gonna take a look at those who die in the comic book and share some idea's that could go along with them.
For a while there we thought Glenn was dead due to Nicholas's stupidity of shooting himself while surrounded by walkers. Most people seem to know already that Glenn dies by Lucille (Negan's bat). Which is an all around epic death, that was created for revenge on Rick's group for taking out a few of Negan's people. Do you think they're already going to put Glenn's life at risk when we have just found out he escaped death? Let's consider the fact that Daryl took out the crew, could someone else like Daryl be in danger of Lucille? I mean Carol made it this far when she's already supposed to be dead, so who knows?
Abraham is always so badass, which is why they took Tyreese out of the picture because he was beginning to be too strong of a character. Do you think Abraham is too strong of a character? I don't I think it's nice to have someone whose somewhat new to the group come into the picture and be that strong. Now mentally he's a little screwed up, but so is Rick so it's okay... right?
Morgan was supposed to get bit... now I know Morgan hasn't been with the group long but he wasn't with them long in the comic either. I was happy to see him come back in the show, that was a regrettable emotion considering all the danger is has caused already. I like him better in the comic books, he's a crazy old man that is in love with Michonne. It's about time that girl got some action! So they may be keeping Morgan around to develop more of a relationship.
Doing stupid things get you killed, just ask Sam. I'm over Sasha's craziness. In my opinion, if you're going to take anyone out then it should be Sasha. I simply cannot see how she helps the group in any way, other than stroking Abraham's ego. Sasha does not exist in the comic book, Tyreese was supposed to have a daughter but in the TV series he has a sister. They should've taken her out with Tyreese. Just saying.
Listed above, I said we may have to worry about Daryl because Glenn was dead, alive, then we thought he was gonna die, so we'll see what comes next because they had already put Glenn in danger twice in this season. There has been speculation that Daryl is basically Jesus in the comic book. I could totally see Daryl pulling off that part, only he'd be gay. Sorry ladies. I'm hoping that Daryl can continue in The Walking Dead.
I love the characters that we have in The Walking Dead and I hope many favorites can stay alive, especially those who have come from Season 1 all the way to this point. Though Andrew Lincoln made a comment in an interview about the Season 6 finale saying:
"I felt sick to my stomach when I read the script. It was the first day in the whole six years of working on The Walking Dead that I was late for work because I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn’t get back to sleep. I was so angry and frustrated and I felt sick. And that was just after reading it."
That's not a good sign especially when you lose sleep over the finale. We just have to wait and see. I think this could be a great turn out!
