Deadpool has now exploded onto cinema screens across the world, and become one of the the highest grossing X-Men movie characters in the process. Despite this, star of the show Ryan Reynolds has still found time to release more viral footage of the Merc with a Mouth. Yay!
After a petition emerged requesting Reynolds's not-so-alter-ego hosts Saturday Night Live, the 39-year-old actor has responded in the best way possible.
And His Response Is At The Expense Of Kanye West
Yup, in true Deadpool style, the response flutters in sync with the pulse of pop-culture, mimicking Kanye's pre-performance hissy fit on the show, after the stage layout was altered shortly before he was due on.
Page Six obtained an exclusive behind-the-scenes recording of the bizarre rant, where West claimed he was going to "break the Internet", and was "50 per cent more influential" than Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, Picasso and Pablo Escobar.
'It's Been 7 Years Since X-Men Origins'
After over 73,000 people signed the petition, how can Wade Wilson turn down the opportunity to appear on the show?
Well, according to the video, SNL have done something completely criminal - they've stolen Wade's copy Kanye's new album, 'Life of Pablo'. This didn't go down well with the foul-mouthed antihero:
"It’s been 7 years since X-Men origins, f*ck this sh*t. I’ve got the biggest opening rated R movie of all time, are they f*cking crazy?"
If Kanye is 50% more influential than every human, a mutant like Deadpool, with a new successful franchise underway, must be pretty important, right?
And He Is - Deadpool Himself Believes He Is 50% More Influential Than MC Hammer
Just let that sink in. That's some serious power, right there. Just you TRY and touch this. In the tongue-in-cheek video, Deadpool continues:
"[I am] 10% more influential than Barbara Bush, the Muppets. 60% more influential than the iPhone 5, shredded Cheese and Dr Ruth. 7% less influential than the Urban Dictionary. Don’t f*ck with me”
But Deadpool Isn't Done Yet - The Video Ends With A Dig At A Famous Friend
Mocking Kanye's claim that he is 'by 50 percent dead or alive, by 50 percent for the next 1,000 years', the video ends with Deadpool claiming:
"Dead or alive, [I'm] 3% more [influential] than Wolverine”
