As kids we never saw anything wrong with this movie and the characters Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox, and Br'er Bear traveled into our homes. The fan favorite song "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Daa" was non stop playing in our heads. Now seeing the racism in the film and actually being banned for it; The Song of the South will be a forgettable children classic.

A Goofy Movie

This childhood classic was panned by critics saying that it was just a quick film to grab some extra bucks. In most audiences eyes, A Goofy Movie took one of our favorite Disney characters and put him into a father and son heartfelt journey. Sure to still please the young at heart.

Pocahontas

This beautifully animated film was one of Disney's most popular among all families. Children would sing along while adults admired the animation and storytelling. This film took a critical response due to critics stating it had an uneven story, and lack of fun. Fans don't agree.

Angels In The Outfield

As kids we absolutely loved this movie because it was full of heart, and made us want to become a baseball star. This remake of the original classic slowly turned into a negative response as critics told audiences that it was to depressing and should of had a lighter tone.

Pete's Dragon

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 48%

This movie must have been in favor of a few of since it is getting it's remake this year! This film made audiences want to have their own dragon and have fun in the woods. Pete's Dragon was shot down by critics saying that it was boring and slow. Audiences react in saying; get an imagination.

Atlantis - The Lost Empire

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 49%

This was a childhood classic full of adventure and peril. Atlantis was in almost every home on repeat until the parents started to get sick of it themselves. Critically hated due to the statements of thin plot and character development.

Brother Bear

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 38%

This Disney classic taught families and friends that the most important people are the ones closest to you. Heartfelt and full of tearjerker moments this film was hated on saying it had a thin story, and so-so animation. Sadly the sequel was more critically praised than this one.

Chicken Little

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 36%

As we grow a little older we can understand why this film received such a low rating, but as young adults we loved this CGI flick. Fast paced and funny; we always wanted to secretly have that alien invasion. Critics pan this film stating it's animation tried to hard and pushed the story under the rug. As fans we have to appreciate that this was the first CG Disney film done that was not by Pixar.

The Mighty Ducks

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 15%

This was one of Disney's most successful movies and as kids we couldn't get enough of this Disney sports extravaganza. Teaching fans how to fight for the win; critics couldn't have been any more angry. Critics state that this film was only meant for small children leaving out all the adults.

Robin Hood

This is one of those films that grow better with age. Full of humor, adventure and lessons about morality; audiences couldn't get enough. Critics state that this film is a weak comparison to other Disney classics and even at it's best moments are lame. Well we disagree critics.
