Ever since Deadpool was first announced, there’s been no shortage of speculation about his story. We all know that Wade Wilson becomes an uncontainable killing machine in the later stages of his life, but what isn't as clear cut is where he actually came from.
There are tons of theories floating around online and the subject is of great debate among fans — even the Marvel writers can't agree on his origins — but in true Deadpool style, a cheeky comic has surfaced poking fun at all of the conjecture and showcasing one fan's take on the story.
Oh, the sweet milk of justice.
On a more serious note, there are a couple of genuine backstories that have been used in the comics in the past. Joe Kelly wrote that Wade Wilson was a schoolteacher turned happily married man who Deadpool killed and adopted the identity of. Frank Tieri and Buddy Scalera, on the other hand, said that after a rough childhood, Wade dropped out of school and joined the military from which he was eventually dishonorably discharged — following that, he went straight into mercenary work.
Moving forward, it's pretty much left to whoever is currently writing Deadpool to decide.
