We're all wondering the same thing: Is Spider-Man going to be Team Cap or Team Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War?
The latest issue of Empire magazine hints at a clue exposing the fact that Spidey appears after the group has already split into teams:
"The final key combatant here is Tom Holland's Spider-Man, returning to the Marvel Studios fold after a deal was struck with rights holder Sony. He comes in after the battle lines have been drawn, and forms a relationship with one character who, for now, the Russo's won't identify. "Tom's unbelievable," says Joe. "We're very excited to present our vision of Spider-Man to the world. He was my favorite character growing up, so for a comic geek like me, this is a real moment."
Cosmic Book News makes a good point that Spider-Man will pick Tony Stark's side, as that is exactly what happens in the comics. Of course, he gets involved at age 15, so it's crazy to think that a teen would jump into war so easily.
Captain America: Civil War is set to hit theaters on May 6. Directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo, Civil War stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, Emily VanCamp, William Hurt, Martin Freeman and Chadwick Boseman.
