Short Write-Up Review of Eddie The Eagle (2016):

Eddie the Eagle soars through the big screens Friday February 26, 2016, I expect in a very big way! It was not my immediate pick for being one of the most daring, inspiring, and heartfelt underdog stories I've seen in the past few years. But truth is it was all of those things and more!

This movie really moved me a big way, keeping me in thrilled with the fascinating dedication of through his portrayal of Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards that Taron Egerton performed masterfully. The his performance it can be seen that he spent a lot of time researching this British Olympic hero, verifying the settle nuances that make him that standout individual his friends & family remember. And in his efforts gave us one of the most lovable characters to hit screens in quite some time. His dedication while in character and out, coupled with his amazing chemistry with Hugh Jackman's Bronson Peary keep this movie filled with life. Jackman does an amazing job getting the audience at first glace look down upon his character, then we follow to smile with him, and then we dare to cheer along with him while him and Egerton take to the Olympic Circuit. This impact is has much acknowledgement needing to be given to the up & coming actor turned director Dextor Fletcher with great work behind the lens giving us a genuine yet true to life portrayal that now a days is hard to pull off and still be witty, funny, and uplifting simultaneously. With Matthew Vaughn in the producer seat, you can feel the vibrations throughout the film his keen eye for the capturing of visual immersion in those more action based scenes and also through in cinematography with the most touching scenes as well. All in all, Eddie the Eagle will sure to fill many viewers with a lot of inspiration and willing to hope in a dream even if it seems impossible. My personal take away from Eddie the Eagle that gave it a 9.5 out 10 rating for me is that, "Courage is not something that people just learn, they are born with it!" - JVS
