With a show with a cast as big as The Walking Dead's, there's always bound to be a few characters who just rub the audience the wrong way. And after the redemption arcs of Morgan, Gabriel, and Eugene (as well as the death of Ron) in the mid-season premiere, it looks like another character has become the least favorite: Enid.
That's right, despite the fact that Enid saw her parents eaten alive in front of her, helped save both Maggie and Glenn, and literally tore a tortoise apart in front of us, her moody and sullen demeanor has proved too annoying for audiences. During the screening of Episode 10, "The Next World", viewers took to Twitter to vent their frustrations:
But despite all the hatred, it seems unlikely that Enid will be leaving the show any time soon given that her relationship with Carl, and also the fact that she seems to have been adopted by Maggie and Glenn (a storyline that belonged to Sophia in the comic series).
There is some hope for Enid though; after all, there have been former least-favorite characters who have managed to redeem themselves, including Carl, Tara, and Eugene.

But, in the spirit of loving to hate, take a trip down memory lane and remember all of our favorite least-favorite characters of The Walking Dead:
Lori just couldn't leave Rick to do his stuff and things, and eventually after sleeping with his best friend, getting pregnant with a child of questionable paternity, and generally being a bit annoying, she was killed off in a dramatic C-section-turned-death scene.
He was young, a total liability, and he wouldn't stay in the damn house - plus he basically got Dale killed when he lured a walker out of a bog. These days however, Carl has totally redeemed himself, thank goodness.
Despite her comic book counterpart being an absolute badass, the TV version of Andrea seemed whiny and irritating. After being separated from the group at the end of Season 2, she was basically kept alive by Michonne until she mistakenly trusted the Governor, and ultimately paid the price for it. Sorry, blondie.
He locked his parish out of their church in order to keep himself safe, but then he still had the balls to judge the actions of Rick and his group? Oh, hell no! Fortunately for Gabriel, he seems to have redeemed himself in the mid-season premiere and in doing so has passed on the torch of "least favorite" character.
The Walking Dead airs on AMC on Sunday nights at 9pm ET
