I appreciate art and stories wherever I may find them. That's why I'm so drawn to video games, movies, and most forms of literature.

Okay, so if you're here, you most likely read my previous article pertaining to this. Rather than update that article, I felt that it would be easier to just throw a small little footnote out there and link the article here so that there's a better chance of previous readers seeing this rather than only new readers. If you have not read the article, you can find it here. Obviously, this will contain SPOILERS regarding Phase 3 of the MCU.

You'll remember that in my previous article, I couldn't quite pinpoint where the Soul and Time Stones would show up or who might be in possession of them. Well, following the graphic (which I failed to make note of in the previous article) and the suggestions of those commenting on the post, I have reached my conclusions. I will, as per usual, give credit where it's due:

Soul Stone: Loki

As before, I'm still sticking to the idea that Loki will ultimately be the villain to attain the Soul Stone and return it to Thanos as a peace offering and maybe an apology for losing the Scepter which contained the Mind Stone . . . which is now lodged in Vision's forehead. How he got to this point, I could only speculate. Here I would like to thank Kate Perry for her contribution. She suggested in a comment that Heimdal would be in possession of the Soul Stone given his comic book counterpart has the Soul Gem. The gem grants him the power of omniscience over Earth and its inhabitants, so given he has the same powers, it would lend itself to him possessing the Soul Stone in his breastplate. This opens up a bit of a fallacy what with the Aether being entrusted to The Collector to prevent "more than one infinity stone on Asgard." But that may have just been the negligence of the Asgardians not so much Heimdal.

In regards to the graphic, someone theorized sometime before Age of Ultron that the infinity items spell out THANOS. At the time, this seemed a bit ludicrous to me, but as we step closer to the assembling of all of the stones, it would make sense to some degree. Thus, by this chain of logic, Heimdal would hit the H of THANOS.

Time Stone: Baron Mordo

For this piece, I'd like to again credit Antonio Aranibar for suggesting Baron Mordo. As I said before, Mordo's allegiance is something similar to Loki in that he walks a fine line between a hero and a villain. Or at least that's what we've been told in regards to his role in Dr. Strange. Another strong rumor, is that the Eye of Agamotto contains an infinity stone. This would most definitely be the Time Stone as it's the only one left and it seems fitting for someone like Dr. Strange to be carrying it with him. The Eye is also attached to a chain that Dr. Strange constantly wears around his neck . . . thus making it a necklace and fulfilling the N of THANOS.

Now, the ever important question to consider: Why these specific movies?

The other possible candidates are Captain America: Civil War, the new Spider-man film, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, and Black Panther.

James Gunn has confirmed that there is not an infinity stone in [Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2](tag:1081113). So, that's out of the way. Black Panther is the last film before Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and to me, it'd be a bit late to throw the last stone into the game right then.

I cannot speak in regards to the Spider-man reboot, but it seems highly unlikely that a stone would show up in the midst of a teenager's daily dealings on Earth. I doubt he'll be fighting Hydra or the Chitauri by any means, so it's pretty much doubtful that this would be the case.

[Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409), contrary to my statements about Spider-man, seems to have a massive amount of story already occurring between Cap and Iron Man fighting each other, a superhero registration act, Crossbones, and Baron Zemo all piled into the movie. This seems to be the ensemble film Avengers: Age of Ultron was supposed to be, but that's another matter entirely. I just don't see the stones fitting into such a complicated project.

I will be posting more little updates like this as I come across them whether they be new predictions or retractions of incorrect sections of my theory (believe me, I'm willing to admit that I'm wrong!), so be on the lookout for those over the next few months (and hopefully years).

How have my revisions affected my theory?
