While us fans have been spoiled rotten with vast amounts of exciting promo artwork and teaser trailers for the much anticipated Captain America: Civil War, we've still not seen any sign of Spider-Man. But could the wait be over?

This Business Card Appears To Reveal Spidey's New Costume

It could be easy to dismiss this as another red herring, considering there has been no official word on the cinematic costume for the upcoming film. However, this isn't just ANY business card. Posted online by Hybrid Network, it belongs to Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics, Axel Alonso.

It's probably the biggest indication yet of the new look. Although Alonso is the head of the Marvel Comics, each of the other Avenger's characters (including Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Panther, and co.) are wearing their cinematic attire.

Finally Spider-Man Is Joining The Ranks

Civil War will boast a who's who of big hitting superheroes, but any news of Spider-Man's role in the cinematic universe is much sought after. Since Sony has owned the rights to Marvel's character, the poor webbed crime fighter has been left out in the cold, far away from the rest of his Avengers' ensemble.

However, a deal struck between Sony and Marvel early last year means the character can join the ranks for Civil War. Significantly, this could also mean that other Marvel characters could feature in spin-off Spidey films.

It was announced in 2015 that the new Peter Parker will be played by Tom Holland, best known for The Impossible (2012). But, unfortunately we still haven't seen any official promotional shots, or any sign in the trailer.

So, could this be the best indication yet of what he'll look like while donning the web-slinger's outfit? I can't help but feel it would be a little sloppy of Marvel to let the design leak out this way, but only time will tell.

Do you think this could be the design of Spider-Man's new costume?
