Nintendo will broadcast a Pokémon Direct tomorrow to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary, which seems like the perfect opportunity to surprise everyone with the announcement of a new game. Well, if the Internet hadn't beaten them to it.

NeoGAF discovered two intriguing trademarks registered in the European Market today named “PoKéMoN SUN” and “PoKéMoN MOON.” The trademark requests were accompanied by these two images, which seem likely to grace 3DS cartridges in the near future:

NerdLeaks is reporting that Nintendo will indeed have more to say during their live stream.
