The excitement for the second season of the globally-praised show, Marvel's Daredevil, is getting bigger and bigger as the release date of March 18 gets closer.

How is it getting bigger, you ask? With a brand new second trailer which focuses its attention on Elektra, Daredevil's new love interest and the evil organization known as "The Hand" and reveals an updated design (at least concerning the mask) for the blind super hero's suit.

Check out the trailer below:

In the trailer, we learn that Daredevil's actions never actually drove the Yakuza out of New York as shown in season 1; instead, they let the clueless super hero eliminate their enemies until they were strong enough to return. Pictures courtesy of

We get a look at Daredevil's updated suit and his and Elektra's fighting, with her even stating Matt is the best fighter she knows (Hey, thats's a compliment coming from a ruthless, master assassin).

It's revealed that Foggy Nelson is still pretty much against what Matt Murdock has for a night life, with the blind lawyer responding: "I'm done apologizing to you for who I am".

It's also shown how Matt Murdock starts to doubt his methods of helping the city, giving validity to what the showrunners have stated of this being a season of conflicting ideologies.

And what about Claire Temple's line? "This isn't your city anymore"? I don't know about you but I'm waiting for a reference to the Avengers and the other super heroes patrolling New York City.

The Hand.

The obligatory sex scene:... for which I won't show an image.

And Daredevil falling off a building:

What do you think of the new trailer? Are you happy with the characterization of Elektra or do you prefer the Jennifer Garner version?
