Friday The 13th: The Game was successfully funded on Kickstarter on November 12th, 2015, with $823,704 USD raised thanks to 12,218 backers. Gun Media are set to release the game on the XBOX One, PS4 and PC in October of 2016 and we're excited to see how it all turns out.

But for now, the team have a little surprise for us with a video that brings us inside the mo-cap studio to see Kane Hodder, the actor behind the Jason Voorhees mask, unleash brutal kills on his two acting rivals.

Kill, Jason! Kane Hodder Decimates His Foes In Friday The 13th: The Game Mo-Cap Footage

Here you'll get to see Kane tear through some campers in some excellent Tom Savini-designed kills. You may recognise some of the more famous ones, while others are completely new to us!

Isn't it fascinating to get a look inside the inner workings of a motion capture studio? The technology behind video games is remarkable, and though some of this stuff looks pretty strange with the actors in costume, we're sure that these kills will be brutal in game!

Yeah, Jason! Swing that corpse!

Friday the 13th: The Game is an online, asymmetric multiplayer experience where one player will assume the role of Jason Voorhees against seven other players assuming the roles of camp counselors trying to survive the night. Yep, I'm game.
