Since raising over $800,000 on Kickstarter, the folks over at Gun Media have remained hard at work on bringing their horrific vision of Friday the 13th to life. Now, the latest development update has delivered a brand new gameplay concept video introducing traps.

Traps provide one of the few valuable ways in which camp counselors can fight back against Jason, laying bear traps to stop him on his murderous path. Check out the video below for details:

Kickstarter backers have also reached the campaign's latest stretch goal, gaining access to 3 additional counselor skins:

One of these archetypal skins is the stock 'Edgy Guy' Adam Palomino -- bask in his smarmy smirk below:

Gun Media posted:

Our latest concept piece wrapped up, so we're proud to bring you The Edgy Guy. He's tough and can fix a vehicle like no other counselor can. We like to think of him as the down-to-earth grease monkey at high school who looks out for others and protects them from bullies. He doesn't take any shit from anyone...

Fans will be pleased to hear that the devs have also been working on perfecting the game's wooden chair models:

Friday the 13th: The game is projected to come out in the fall of 2016.

Will you be heading back to Crystal Lake?
