The casting news just keeps on coming for [Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2](tag:1081113), currently filming at the Pinewood Studios in Atlanta. Heroic Hollywood has reported that Sons of Anarchy actor Tommy Flanagan has been cast in a role. Variety confirmed the reports.
Flanagan has been pegged to play one of the Ravagers, and not only that, he'll be playing the right-hand man to Michael Rooker's Yondu. He's a great addition to an already strong pool of actors that has seen the recent additions of Kurt Russell, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Pom Klementieff.
While Flanagan is best known for playing Chibs on Sons Of Anarchy, fans will also recognize him from his roles in Braveheart and Sin City. He also recently appeared on Fox's Gotham.
Heroic Hollywood is also reporting that one of the Ravagers will supposedly have a bounty out for Rocket (Bradley Cooper), which will cause conflict within the Ravagers group. Whether or not that Ravager with a vendetta is Flanagan's character remains unclear, but either way, he'll be great acting alongside Rooker.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 began principal photography in Atlanta this week and is scheduled for release on May 5, 2017.
