ABC has recently released the official synopsis for the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off, Marvel's Most Wanted. The idea behind Marvel's Most Wanted is that it follows ex-S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter after leaving Phil Coulson's side because a falling-out... maybe a subtle hint at the future of the third season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Then after they leave S.H.I.E.L.D., the former spies create an unlikely alliance with an ally from their past. The synopsis is as follows:

Centers on Bobbi Morse (aka Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., two ex-spies and ex-spouses who are on the run with no friends, no S.H.I.E.L.D. and a long list of enemies looking to claim the bounty on their heads. Able to trust no one but each other, Bobbi and Hunter form an uneasy alliance with Dominic Fortune, a rogue adventurer with a wealth of resources and even more adversaries, who agrees to protect them so long as they help him with his own agenda. These two heroes will help anyone in need, all while trying to uncover the conspiracy that put their own lives in jeopardy.

Dominic Fortune is a classic Marvel character that got his debut back in 1975 in Marvel Preview #2. Dominic Fortune is portrayed as a retired mercenary and professional spy who constantly tries to get out of the game but always seems to find a way to be pulled back in. Casting rumors dictate that Fortune will be played by veteran character actor Delroy Lindo who people might remember from movies like Sahara, Gone in Sixty Seconds and Get Shorty.

Marvel's Most Wanted will star Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood reprising their roles from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and has no official release date but is expected to be released sometime later this year.
